The company also launched a new free edition, called Databricks Community Edition, designed to help developers and learners explore data engineering, data science, and AI technologies. This edition provides access to a unified platform used by millions of professionals and includes extensive training materials. Additionally, Databricks announced a $100 million investment to develop data and AI talent. The company’s growth and product launches position it as a strong competitor to Snowflake, which continues to receive positive analyst ratings and maintains a buy rating with price targets around $220 to $265. Meanwhile, AMD has seen its price target raised to $144 by Evercore ISI and maintains an outperform rating, supported by progress in AI and datacenter GPUs. Analysts also reiterated buy ratings for Nvidia, Snowflake, and AMD, citing robust AI demand, data platform momentum, and expanding partnerships with major tech companies like Microsoft and Meta.
