Defense stocks experienced modest declines at the market open, with notable drops including CACI down 1%, LMT down 0.7%, and BAH down 0.9%. In contrast, AMTM saw a more pronounced decline of nearly 6%, trading below its book value. Despite this, AMTM has guided for 2025 revenues between $13.8 billion and $14.2 billion, with expected earnings per share between $2.00 and $2.20. Currently, AMTM's market capitalization stands at $4.5 billion, reflecting a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 8, a price-to-book ratio of 1, and a price-to-sales ratio of 0.54, making it one of the most attractively valued stocks in the defense sector. Other defense stocks, such as BAH, CACI, and SAIC, are trending upward, with BAH reporting a 4.4% increase on the day. Analysts suggest that AMTM remains undervalued and may attract attention from institutional investors as it gains visibility in the market.
