FuboTV Inc. reported its first positive adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter, generating $20.7 million as the streaming-television company narrowed its net loss to $8.0 million from $25.8 million a year earlier. Quarterly revenue slipped 3% to $371.3 million, yet exceeded analyst expectations of about $354 million. Adjusted earnings came in at $0.05 a share, beating the consensus forecast for a $0.05 loss. In North America, FuboTV recorded $371.3 million in revenue and 1.356 million paid subscribers, declines of 3% and 6.5% respectively from a year ago. Outside the region, revenue rose 4.7% to $8.7 million with 349,000 subscribers. The results, which topped the company’s own guidance for revenue and subscriber additions, sent the stock up about 3% in pre-market trading on Friday.
