
New Fortress Energy (NFE) has reported its fourth-quarter 2024 financial results, posting adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.13, which exceeded the consensus estimate of $0.04. The company also reported revenues of $679 million, surpassing the expected $602.31 million. The company achieved an adjusted EBITDA of $313 million for the quarter, significantly exceeding its guidance of $200-$220 million. For the full year, adjusted EBITDA reached $950 million. The results were influenced by the accounting activation of FastLNG, which contributed to revenue and EBITDA figures. In addition, New Fortress Energy announced a one-year extension of its gas contract in Puerto Rico, eliminating future incentive payments in exchange for a $110 million payment.
