Adjusted EBITDA came in at $1.98 billion, slightly below the $2.01 billion analysts expected. Reported earnings were $0.26 per share on net sales of $6.41 billion, narrowly ahead of forecasts. Occidental realised $63.76 a barrel for crude and $1.33 per thousand cubic feet of U.S. natural gas. In a strategic move, pipeline giant Enterprise Products Partners agreed to acquire Occidental’s gas-gathering affiliate, bolstering Occidental’s liquidity as it continues to invest in production and carbon-management initiatives. Both companies signalled that integration of recent deals and disciplined spending will remain central to their outlooks for the remainder of 2025.
