The X account of Pump Fun has been hacked, leading to the promotion of fraudulent tokens including PUMP and GPT-4.5. This breach is reportedly linked to previous hacks involving Jupiter DAO and Dogwifcoin accounts, with the attackers likely employing social engineering tactics. Following the hack, Pump Fun's account has displayed limited activity, with only three posts visible as of 11 a.m. ET on February 26. The platform has also experienced a drastic decline in activity; the number of tokens graduating from its system has dropped from 24,008 last month to just 517 this week. Additionally, Pump Fun's revenue has plummeted by 93% since January, with daily revenue now just above $1 million, comparable to levels seen in mid-October of the previous year. In the last 24 hours, approximately 27,700 tokens were created, but only about 0.88% were successfully launched, indicating a sharp downturn in the memecoin market associated with the platform.
