Quanta Services reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter results and raised its full-year guidance, helped by continued demand for power, pipeline and renewable-energy infrastructure work. Revenue rose 21% from a year earlier to $6.77 billion, beating analysts’ $6.56 billion consensus, while adjusted earnings climbed 30.5% to $2.48 a share, also ahead of estimates. Adjusted EBITDA increased 28% to $668.8 million. On the back of the better-than-forecast quarter, the Houston-based contractor lifted its 2025 revenue projection to a range of $27.4 billion to $27.9 billion, up from $26.7 billion to $27.2 billion previously. Quanta also disclosed an agreement to purchase privately held engineering and construction firm Dynamic Systems for about $1.35 billion in upfront cash, expanding its presence in industrial process facilities. The company said the deal should close later this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
