Safran reported its first quarter 2025 revenue, highlighting strong momentum in both civil aerospace and defense sectors. The group confirmed its 2025 outlook and is awaiting regulatory decisions on its proposed acquisition of Collins Aerospace, without currently assessing the impact of ongoing trade tensions. Meanwhile, Saab posted its strongest first quarter ever, with sales reaching SEK 15.79 billion, slightly below estimates of SEK 16.19 billion. Operating profit was SEK 1.45 billion, surpassing the estimated SEK 1.41 billion. Saab registered an 11% sales growth driven by robust defense demand and maintained its full-year guidance of 12% to 16% organic revenue growth. The company anticipates a slight weakening of organic sales in the second quarter year-over-year but described the quarter as very stable. Both companies demonstrated resilience and positive performance in their respective aerospace and defense markets during the first quarter of 2025.
