$VZ Verizon confident in FY25 financial guidance; expects 3-5bps incremental churn in Q1'25
AT&T Inc. expects to receive over $2 billion in cash proceeds and payments from previously announced transactions, while remaining on track to meet its 2025 consolidated financial guidance. The telecommunications company anticipates a full-year adjusted earnings per share (EPS) in the range of $1.97 to $2.07, with first-quarter adjusted EPS projected to be approximately $0.48 or higher. AT&T also expects to report strong free cash flow exceeding $16 billion for the year. In contrast, Verizon Communications Inc. has indicated that it is experiencing an elevated level of competitive intensity in the first quarter, with expectations for soft growth. Verizon's Chief Revenue Officer, Frank Boulben, noted that gross additions this quarter will likely be soft due to challenging year-over-year comparisons, although the company remains confident in its financial guidance for fiscal year 2025.
