
T-Mobile US Inc. reported its fourth-quarter earnings for 2024, surpassing analysts' expectations. The company's earnings per share reached $2.57, exceeding the estimated $2.29. Revenue for the quarter was $21.87 billion, above the forecasted $21.35 billion. T-Mobile added 1.93 million postpaid net customers in the quarter, outpacing the expected 1.61 million. For the full year of 2024, T-Mobile achieved a record high of 6.1 million postpaid net customer additions. The company also reported a net income of $3.0 billion for the quarter and $11.3 billion for the year, marking the highest full-year net income in its history. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $7.92 billion, and service revenue reached $16.93 billion. Looking ahead, T-Mobile anticipates adding between 5.5 million and 6 million postpaid net customers in 2025, setting a new record for the highest guidance range at the start of a year. The company's earnings per share increased by 54% year-over-year, while revenue grew by 6.8%.
