Vodafone Group PLC reported mixed financial results for the fiscal year 2024-2025 ended March 31. The company posted net losses of approximately 3.75 billion euros, reversing from a net profit of 1.5 billion euros in the previous fiscal year. Operational losses amounted to 411 million euros. These losses were attributed to charges related to investments in Germany and Romania, as well as increased competition in its key German market. Despite the losses, Vodafone's organic service revenue rose by 5.4%, surpassing estimates of 4.19%. The company announced a €500 million share buyback program and forecasted adjusted free cash flow between €2.6 billion and €2.8 billion and adjusted EBITDA between €11.0 billion and €11.3 billion for 2026. Vodafone expects earnings to remain approximately flat in the current fiscal year. In Turkey, Vodafone reported revenues of 101.8 billion Turkish lira, reflecting an 83% increase. Meanwhile, BT Group PLC reported Q4 and full-year 2025 earnings slightly below expectations, with Q4 adjusted EBITDA of £1.97 billion versus an estimate of £2 billion and full-year pretax profit of £1.3 billion against an estimated £1.8 billion. BT expects flat earnings growth for the current fiscal year with adjusted EBITDA guidance of £8.2 billion to £8.3 billion for 2026. EasyJet PLC posted a widened headline pretax loss of £394 million for the first half of 2025, slightly missing estimates. Revenue was £3.53 billion with a load factor of 87.9%. Despite the loss, EasyJet remains optimistic about meeting full-year 2025 consensus and projects generating over £1 billion in annual profit in the medium term, driven by strong demand for flights and its holidays business.
