Zoetis, a leading animal health company, announced its third-quarter 2024 financial results, reporting strong earnings driven by robust demand for its pet treatments. The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $1.58, an increase of 16%, exceeding expectations. Total revenue reached $2.39 billion, up 11%, beating estimates by $98 million. U.S. companion animal revenue rose 18%, while U.S. livestock revenue increased by 5%. Zoetis raised its annual profit and revenue forecasts, now anticipating full-year revenue growth of 10-11% excluding foreign exchange effects, up from its previous guidance of 9-11%, and adjusted EPS of $5.86 to $5.92, up from $5.78 to $5.88. The improved outlook reflects strong performance in both companion animal and livestock segments, with particular strength in the U.S. companion animal market.
