A former executive director of an Oakland youth nonprofit and boxing gym has admitted to embezzling over $500,000, including a $50,000 donation from NBA star Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry. The 38-year-old man faces up to 20 years in prison for his role in the theft. Separately, Christine Gendron of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, has agreed to plead guilty to her involvement in a $19 million conspiracy involving forged lease agreements and fraudulent rent rolls to defraud lenders in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
