Kyle Davies, the co-founder of the now-defunct hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC), has been in the spotlight following a comprehensive interview with journalist Laura Shin. In the interview, Davies expressed no remorse over the collapse of his hedge fund, which imploded in mid-2022, leading to a loss of $3 billion. Despite the significant financial fallout, Davies compared himself to Lloyd Blankfein, the former CEO of Goldman Sachs, and claimed a similar stature within the crypto world. He also revealed being paid $25,000 a month for advising the failed crypto bankruptcy claims exchange OPNX, attributing this to his self-proclaimed status as 'the Lloyd Blankfein of crypto.' Additionally, Davies and his co-founder Su Zhu were sentenced to four months in prison in Singapore for missing a court date. The interview, which touched on various aspects of Davies's career and the downfall of 3AC, has been widely discussed for its hard-hitting questions and Davies's contentious statements.
