Law enforcement officials have dismantled a ghost gun trafficking operation in Queens, according to New York Attorney General Letitia James. AG JAMES announced that five individuals have been charged in connection with the operation. Authorities recovered 55 ghost guns, 25 assault weapons, 90 high-capacity magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition from a Queens mall and playground. The attorney general announced a 625-count gun-related indictment on July 17 as part of the crackdown.
