
The Arizona Supreme Court has unanimously overturned $27,000 in sanctions against the Arizona GOP and its attorneys. These sanctions were originally imposed following an unsuccessful lawsuit that challenged the 2020 election results in Maricopa County. The lawsuit argued that there were violations of state law in the selection of ballots for the post-election hand count audit. The reversal of these sanctions was unanimously supported by the appeals court.
