
A San Mateo man who was stabbed on the southbound platform at Caltrain’s Redwood City Station shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday has died from his injuries, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday. Deputies arrested a Redwood City man at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in connection with the attack and are treating the case as a homicide. Investigators believe the stabbing was an isolated incident and say there is no ongoing threat to the public, while the motive remains under investigation.
