The FBI Boston has charged six individuals, including five Massachusetts residents and one New Yorker, in a $1 million health care fraud scheme. The accused allegedly submitted false health insurance claims for traumatic injuries, such as stabbings, gunshot wounds, and hit-and-run accidents, purportedly occurring overseas. The fraudulent claims defrauded insurance companies out of more than $1 million.
