Federal Officials Investigate 70 Piles of Cremated Human Remains Found Near Searchlight, Nevada in Clark County
Federal officials have launched an investigation after approximately 70 piles of cremated human remains were discovered on public land near Searchlight, Nevada, about 50 miles south of Las Vegas. The site falls within Clark County, where the federal government owns 88% of the land, with the Bureau of Land Management overseeing more than half of that area.
