Denver police are investigating five separate violent attacks that left at least five people injured in the city between late Friday and Saturday evening. The first incident was reported shortly after midnight on the 1400 block of North Pennsylvania Street, where officers found an adult man with stab wounds. Hours later, a second stabbing on the 1300 block of North Lowell Boulevard also injured one person; detectives detained two individuals for questioning in that case. Near dawn, officers responded to a shooting on the 18400 block of East Elmendorf Drive, where a victim was located with injuries described as non-life-threatening. On Saturday afternoon, campus security at the University of Denver detained a suspect after another stabbing inside the university’s library. A fifth victim was wounded Saturday evening at East Colfax Avenue and North Washington Street; police said the man’s injuries were not life-threatening. Authorities have not indicated that the incidents are connected. Investigators are still gathering evidence and seeking additional suspect information, and no fatalities have been reported.
