Changpeng Zhao, the co-founder and former CEO of Binance, has announced a new educational project named Giggle Academy. The initiative aims to provide free basic education for all, specifically targeting underprivileged children in developing countries, from grade levels 1-12. Giggle Academy is described as a gamified and adaptive platform, designed to make learning accessible and engaging without generating revenue or issuing new tokens. Despite Zhao's ongoing legal challenges, including a looming sentencing for anti-money laundering violations, he is moving forward with this project, which will involve education using NFTs. The concept paper for Giggle Academy is already available, and the project is currently recruiting a small team to work directly with Zhao.
