Henderson police have arrested a man accused of conducting a financial institution spoofing scam. The suspect allegedly posed as a bank employee, contacted multiple victims using a spoofed phone number, and claimed their debit cards had been used fraudulently. He then instructed victims to send their debit cards to him, which he used to make unauthorized charges. Victims have reported thousands of dollars drained from their accounts. Police are urging more victims to come forward. Additionally, Las Vegas police report that Summerlin area residents have also been targeted by a similar credit card scam.
