Liberty University has been fined a record-breaking $14 million for failing to report sexual assaults and not disclosing information about crimes on its campus. The fine, the largest ever under the Clery Act, was imposed due to the university's treatment of sexual assault survivors and the punishment of victims for violating the student code of conduct while their assailants went unpunished.

Liberty University was just hit with the largest fine in Clery Act history, and that's not the only scandal at the most broken institution in American higher education. @DavidAFrench wrote this not long ago, and it doesn't even encompass all the scandals: https://t.co/AqCmKwmL2o
The civic mission of universities does not, and should not, center on racial and gender balancing of faculties and student bodies. Institutions of higher education have learned nothing in the last year. You will get sued! https://t.co/6B4DXlRYdi https://t.co/w9iepfBnJC
