
A Las Vegas valley man is among five individuals charged with scamming senior citizens out of $27 million, according to federal prosecutors. The scheme, which resulted in over 2,000 elderly people losing their money, has led to multiple indictments, including a Henderson resident, according to the Department of Justice. Additionally, a Houston builder, whose disappearance in 2023 was questioned by authorities as pre-planned, has been accused of federal wire fraud. In a separate case, a Baltimore suspect has been charged with stealing over $1 million in a 'Gold Bar Scam' targeting senior citizens.
