
A series of credit card skimming incidents have been reported across multiple locations in Massachusetts and the Northeast, affecting thousands of victims. Thieves targeted USPS blue, curbside mailboxes in a Massachusetts town and installed skimmers at nine different Roche Bros. locations in the Boston area. Additionally, similar devices were placed in Walmart stores across Massachusetts and the Northeast. Over 29,000 credit cards have been compromised in this spree. Police in Prince George’s County have also issued a public alert about the growing threat of credit card skimmers.
