Pleasanton police have arrested a 29-year-old city resident on suspicion of fatally shooting a man on Friday night and storing improvised explosive devices in his home, authorities said. Officers responded around 9:40 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 4600 block of Helpert Court and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
