
Roman Ziemian, a Polish national and co-founder of the cryptocurrency trading platform FutureNet, has been arrested in Montenegro. He is accused of defrauding users out of approximately $21 million. Ziemian was wanted by authorities in Poland and South Korea and was apprehended by Montenegrin police in Podgorica, where he was reportedly hiding under a false identity. Interpol played a role in tracking him down after he had been evading capture since 2022.
