
Keonne Rodriguez, co-founder of Samourai Wallet, pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and operating an unlicensed money transmitting business in a Manhattan court. He was released on a $1 million bond, secured by real estate in Pennsylvania and signatures from his wife and another family member. Rodriguez is under house arrest in Pennsylvania until his trial, with the exception of trips to court hearings. The charges against him carry potential maximum sentences of 20 years and five years, respectively.
