
Ettore Mazzei, a well-known chef and catering hall owner on Staten Island, has been arrested as the mastermind behind a massive drug ring. Mazzei, who was recently honored for his community revitalization efforts and received a local business honor, was among 21 people arrested in a sweeping drug bust conducted by NYPD Drug Enforcement agents. The operation, which targeted a sprawling cocaine, heroin, and fraud ring, culminated in the arrests of about 20 people on Wednesday morning. District Attorney Michael McMahon announced the arrests, highlighting the exploitation of vulnerable New Yorkers.
