Steven Weisberg, a 58-year-old ice cream shop owner from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, has been charged with child pornography and unauthorized video recording after allegedly secretly recording multiple females, including two minors, in the bathroom of his Addison ice cream shop. Police and court records indicate that Weisberg used a hidden camera, reportedly attached with floss and tape, to film girls and workers in the store bathroom. Following his arrest, a judge denied Weisberg pretrial release. The DuPage County state’s attorney’s office and Addison police are handling the case. Additionally, a Chicago law firm has initiated an investigation into Weisberg’s actions. One teenage victim who worked at the shop has publicly spoken out about the incident.
