
A man, Travis John Branson, accused of participating in the killing of over 3,000 birds, including eagles, on a Montana Indian reservation and illegally selling their carcasses and feathers, plans to plead guilty to federal criminal charges related to illegal wildlife trafficking. Prosecutors alleged that Branson and others engaged in a years-long 'killing spree' that targeted about 3,600 birds on the Flathead Indian Reservation and elsewhere. Branson faces up to 12 years in prison as part of a plea deal.
