Two individuals have been sentenced in connection with a dark web identity theft and retail fraud conspiracy, which involved the theft of over 120 identities from victims, including those in state prisons. Prosecutors indicated that the duo faces decades in federal prison for their actions. Additionally, a police retail theft operation resulted in five arrests and the recovery of more than $1,000 worth of stolen items, according to authorities.
