
Two women, Rosanna Lisa Stanley of North Miami Beach and her accomplice, have been charged in a years-long romance scam that defrauded at least 16 elderly and vulnerable victims of more than $7 million. Manhattan federal prosecutors detailed that the scheme, which spanned 15 years, involved the women callously exploiting their victims' desire for companionship. The scammers also tricked victims into purchasing $1.4 million in collectible stamps, according to the FBI.
