Cetera Financial Group, a notable wealth management firm with substantial assets under management, has officially approved the offering of spot Bitcoin ETFs to its clients, as highlighted by Bloomberg's senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. The approved ETFs include Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, Franklin Bitcoin ETF, Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, and Blackrock iShares Bitcoin Trust. This decision by Cetera, which manages $475 billion in assets under administration and $190 billion in assets under management, is seen as a pivotal moment for the acceptance of cryptocurrency investments within mainstream financial services. Eric Balchunas also noted the absence of Bitcoin ETFs on major offline asset management platforms, which manage between $7 to $10 trillion, but anticipates their listing in the next few months. The approval of these ETFs by Cetera is viewed as a forward step in bridging the gap between traditional finance and the evolving digital asset space.
