Circle's CCTP for USDC Goes Live on Solana, Bridges Eight Blockchains

The Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), developed by Circle, has officially launched on the Solana mainnet, enabling the secure transfer of USDC across eight different blockchains with 1:1 capital efficiency. This integration facilitates fast, frictionless flows of USDC to Solana from eight blockchain networks across 56 unique routes. Notably, Wormhole Connect's integration with CCTP on Solana allows developers to incorporate native USDC transfers into their applications with just three lines of code. The launch is supported by various partners including Jupiter Exchange and Solend, marking a significant milestone in the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
