
The cryptocurrency market has experienced significant volatility, leading to widespread liquidations. Over the past 24 hours, approximately $481 million in crypto assets were liquidated, with $367 million coming from long positions. Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum were among the most affected, with Bitcoin long positions alone accounting for $420 million of the liquidations. Dogecoin saw $60 million in liquidations, its biggest hit since 2021. Solana memecoin $WIF also saw over $2 million in long positions liquidated. The majority of these liquidations occurred on major exchanges such as Binance, OKX, and HTX. Additionally, $3.5 million worth of Solana memecoin $WIF and $1.25 million worth of Ethereum memecoin $TRUMP were sold off.
