The Ethereum ecosystem has reached new milestones in its scaling efforts, driven primarily by Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) solutions. On June 16, Ethereum recorded an all-time high of 246 transactions per second (TPS), with over 40% of these transactions attributed to the Layer 3 solution, XAI Games. Combined L2 and L3 throughput reached a record high above 280 TPS, with XAI accounting for more than 100 TPS amid the launch of its Vanguard:Genesis campaign. The total value locked (TVL) across Ethereum's L2s has surged to $44 billion, up from $10 billion a year ago. Additionally, Base, an Ethereum L2, has grown significantly within a year, achieving 2.85 million daily transactions and a total value locked of $7.45 billion. The number of weekly active addresses on L2s has also hit a new high, reaching 7,163,265, largely due to increased activity on zkSync and 0xMantle. Furthermore, the Ethereum ecosystem's monthly active users (MAUs) have surpassed 25 million, reflecting an 84.65% growth in transactions since last year.
