The Monad development network (devnet) has officially gone live, achieving a significant milestone of 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This development is part of a series of tests and milestones leading up to the release of a permissioned testnet and eventually a public testnet. The achievement has been met with enthusiasm from the community, with Delphi Designer @0xMigu creating a video to celebrate the launch. Additionally, rumors of funding from Paradigm persist alongside this technical achievement. The Monad team is continuing load testing and further development in anticipation of future releases. Notably, the testnet has hit 25k transactions just two days after going live, processed 2 billion transactions within 24 hours, and minted over 1 million limited collection NFTs in 90 seconds.
