The Monad development network (devnet) has officially gone live, achieving a significant milestone of 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This development is part of a series of tests and milestones leading up to the release of a permissioned testnet and eventually a public testnet. The achievement has been met with enthusiasm from the community, with Delphi Designer @0xMigu creating a video to celebrate the launch. Additionally, rumors of funding from Paradigm persist alongside this technical achievement. The Monad team is continuing load testing and further development in anticipation of future releases. Notably, the testnet has hit 25k transactions just two days after going live, processed 2 billion transactions within 24 hours, and minted over 1 million limited collection NFTs in 90 seconds.
Monad not yet live but out with big news. So people have been gambling on a Monad proxy (parallel narrative) https://t.co/CKJEdvG4JG https://t.co/lUJYC4b6Ef
🥵 where’s the real competition? * 30k peak peer-to-peer (p2p) transactions per second (TPS). * 25k sustained p2p TPS for hours. * Processed 2 billion transactions within 24 hours. * Minted over 1 million limited collection NFTs in 90 seconds. https://t.co/D1Kp8oAQwX
10k tps achieved. Publicly verifiable. Can test for yourself, on public infrastructure. No need for "trust me bro". Available today, no need to wait. And we havent even started with the parallel execution meme. https://t.co/q2QRKM9WXe
