A survey by the Ontario Securities Commission revealed that 10% of Canadians held crypto in 2023, down from 13% in 2022. Additionally, 12% of crypto owners in Canada tried to sell their crypto but couldn't, and 7% used it to pay ransoms. Some questioned the survey quality due to the ransom payment findings.
