A wave of phishing attacks and scams is currently targeting the cryptocurrency community. Users of the CoinStats mobile app are being notified of a fake 14.2 ETH prize, prompting warnings to secure crypto assets. Anyone who imported keys into CoinStats is at risk of having their funds drained. Several X (formerly Twitter) accounts, including those of prominent figures and companies, have been compromised, leading to fraudulent messages and links. Notably, the TON ecosystem is experiencing a surge in phishing attacks, with fake airdrops and bots targeting users' wallets. CoinMarketCap has also issued a warning, stating they will never DM users first and to verify messages before sending funds.
