Proof of Play, a prominent game studio known for its title Pirate Nation, which raised $33 million last year, has announced the launch of its Multichain network. This new blockchain infrastructure, described as an ultra fast constellation of blockchains constructed on Arbitrum Orbit, is designed to enhance the scalability of fully on-chain games and decentralized applications (dapps). The Multichain aims to provide real-time, internet-scale performance for on-chain gameplay, leveraging Proof of Play's proprietary game engine. Pirate Nation is set to be the first game to migrate to this innovative platform, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of on-chain gaming.
