Renzo Protocol faced criticism for its token distribution strategy, where 95% of the tokens were allocated to the team and investors, leaving minimal amounts for users. The controversy escalated when it was revealed that the company manipulated a pie chart to exaggerate the community's share, making it appear ten times larger than it actually was, and deleted the misleading tweet after backlash. Despite attempts to rectify the chart post-Token Generation Event (TGE), subsequent revisions remained inaccurate, leading to further scrutiny and negative feedback from the cryptocurrency community.
The team @RenzoProtocol clearly didnt bother to take this advice. GL finding LPers after this fiasco https://t.co/hoFbSpLm1p
So Renzo "fixed" the tokenomics chart, and it's still WRONG ???? Who are you paying to do this stuff @RenzoProtocol ? https://t.co/mZrM4RUnbs https://t.co/8PekSFUgD3
Renzo tokenomics (max extraction by devs/investors, as little as possible to users) is basically what happens when nobody crypto native is in the room to sanity check decisions Just stop using it after TGE
