RiskOnBlast Rug Pull and Multiple Hacks Cost Crypto Investors Over $1.25 Million

The cryptocurrency community is reeling from a series of security breaches and scams, with significant losses reported across various platforms. The decentralized finance (DeFi) project RiskOnBlast is suspected of executing a rug pull, absconding with approximately 420 ETH, valued around $1.25 million, though some reports suggest up to 500 ETH (~$850k) was stolen. The scam was highlighted by multiple sources, including users who reported substantial personal losses and platforms that observed the illicit transfer of funds to mixers and other exchanges to obfuscate the trail. In a separate incident, MicroStrategy's X account fell victim to a phishing scam, with hackers reportedly stealing around $440K to $500K. Additionally, the KyberSwap and Abracadabra.Money platforms experienced security breaches, with exploiters transferring large sums of ETH, including about 800 $ETH (worth ~$2.5m) and 200 $ETH ($621,577.64), to unknown wallets. These events have sparked widespread concern within the cryptocurrency community, prompting calls for increased vigilance and due diligence among investors.
