This investment marks a significant move for BlackRock into the realm of digital assets, coinciding with the launch of their first tokenized fund on Ethereum, the BlackRock USD Institutional. The funding round also included contributions from Hamilton Lane, ParaFi Capital, Tradeweb, and strategic investors such as Aptos Labs, Circle, and Paxos. The capital infusion is set to bolster Securitize's ongoing innovation and expansion efforts.
