
Tether, the stablecoin issuer, has announced a partnership with the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP) of the Republic of Uzbekistan to support the development of cryptocurrency infrastructure in the country. This collaboration includes the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at exploring and promoting the development and adoption of bitcoin, stablecoins, blockchain technology, peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms, and digital asset tokenization in Uzbekistan. Tether will also focus on assisting the Uzbek government in creating a legal framework and regulatory policy for crypto assets, facilitating the development of a blockchain-based system for peer-to-peer telecommunications. The partnership, highlighted by the involvement of $USDT, marks a significant step towards the integration of digital currencies in Uzbekistan.
