
The zkSync token (ZK) officially launched on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges on June 17, 2024. Binance, Bybit, Bitfinex, and OKX have all listed the token, with trading pairs available in Bitcoin, USDT, FDUSD, and Turkish Lira. The token opened at a valuation of $6 billion FDV and is currently trading at approximately $0.29, with a market cap of $889 million and a trading volume of $283 million. Despite the initial excitement, the token experienced an 11% slump in its first few minutes of trading and is now trading at $0.26, later dropping to $0.23, down 28% from its initial high of $0.32, with an FDV of $1.8B. Binance has also announced a $ZK airdrop in response to community backlash over zkSync’s own airdrop. Additionally, both zkSync and Binance have reported issues and delays with the $ZK airdrop.
