The sites must comply by July 4th or face heavy penalties and stricter regulations. Concurrently, Pornhub, Visa, and two hedge funds are facing lawsuits from eleven individuals who allege that videos of their sexual abuse as minors were uploaded to Pornhub. The plaintiffs claim that these entities knowingly profited from the abusive content. Pornhub has also faced criticism for shutting down in Kentucky, citing concerns over age verification and privacy. The number of victims suing Pornhub has now reached nearly 300, with multiple class actions filed on behalf of tens of thousands of children.
