Universal Studio Group is developing a reboot of the classic 1964 sitcom 'The Munsters' titled '1313.' This new series is described as a darker reimagining of the original show and is part of the Universal Monsterverse. The horror series is being produced by James Wan and is being developed by UCP. The title '1313' references the family's address on Mockingbird Lane. Additionally, Universal is working on a series adaptation of the 1976 comedy 'Car Wash.' Both projects are currently in development and not yet set up at any network or streamer.
