In this week's @avax overview, we dive into Ava Labs collaboration with @FilFoundation to release a cross-chain bridge between the Avalanche network and @Filecoin https://t.co/xSJhu30GAR
Filecoin provides compliance-grade retention for @avax apps. KYC records, transaction logs, and audit trails can now be stored immutably, distributed across independent providers, and verified at any time. https://t.co/gGAI14jfs0
🔥 @BNBChain DEX-Volume has hit a new ATH of $13.31 billion. This is 2x higher than all the other top 10 chains combined. I think the next ATH will be of $BNB. https://t.co/i4EUh2CYU7

Avalanche and Filecoin Foundation have launched a native cross-chain data bridge, enabling direct integration between Avalanche's blockchain network and Filecoin's decentralized storage system. This bridge allows data generated on Avalanche's C-Chain to be stored immutably on Filecoin via smart contracts, with verification handled through cryptographic proofs and payments processed natively on Avalanche. The integration aims to provide developers and enterprises with cost-efficient, scalable, and tamper-proof storage solutions, supporting compliance-grade retention for applications such as KYC records, transaction logs, and audit trails. Data remains accessible and verifiable on-chain without leaving the Avalanche network. Filecoin storage is also now available for Cardano dApps, and StorachaNetwork is building on Filecoin to offer portable, verifiable storage for decentralized tools. The Avalanche9000 upgrade facilitated the launch of nine new Layer-1 blockchains in Q1 2025, bringing the total to 32 L1s. Daily active addresses on Avalanche increased 81.4% quarter-over-quarter to 167,300, and daily average transactions rose 23.6%. Notable launches include FIFA and MapleStory L1s, and the Avalanche Summit took place in London. Pharaoh Exchange, operating on Avalanche, reported a 17.5-fold year-over-year increase in monthly trading volume, reaching $1.2 billion in May 2025. BNBChain DEX-Volume also hit a new all-time high of $13.31 billion.
