Bittensor has announced the launch of a Wrapped TAO (wTAO) airdrop, distributing $1,498,378 in wTAO tokens to its community. This initiative marks two years of bridging Bittensor's neural network to Ethereum, emphasizing the project's commitment to a decentralized AI ecosystem. Additionally, Bittensor offers staking opportunities for TAO holdings, with daily returns of up to 0.50 TAO, monthly earnings reaching 14.2 TAO, and a yearly potential of 171 TAO. The project has also seen over 200 decentralized large language model (LLM) training runs completed on its new subnet, which is less than 45 days old. Experts in the field suggest that the potential of these subnets remains largely untapped, with only a small fraction of the exploration space being utilized.
